Advanced Business Systems has kept its clients’ IT running for more than 23 years. After winning the tender in July 2025, we worked through several rounds of concepts to a logo with five lines for five values, then built a node-based key visual, an icon system for technical diagrams, a 65-page brand book, the website and team portraits.
introduction
01The Client
Advanced Business Systems designs and builds IT infrastructure for companies and public institutions: data centres, networks, high-availability systems, cybersecurity and data protection. For more than 23 years its engineers have kept their clients’ businesses running.
The Brief
We won the project in a tender in July 2025. The company needed an identity as precise as its installations, and a way to explain them: what a firewall, a SAN or a redundant server cluster does, in a form a board member can follow. The brief covered strategy, the logo, a visual system for diagrams, a brand book and a new website.
The Idea
The strategy workshop in August gave us one word: continuity. Infrastructure work is judged by what does not happen, the outage that never comes. Every element of the brand had to express that calm, connected reliability.

02Many Rounds to One Sign
Getting to the final logo took seven concept presentations, 76 pages and several rounds of feedback. We sketched by hand and drew acronyms, monograms, stacked letters, bar codes of rack units and dotted connectors, then tested each against the strategy with the client. Most were good logos. Only one held the letter A, the idea of continuity and the company’s values in a single shape.
Narrowing Down
Each round cut the field and sharpened the brief. Along the way the brand settled on its full name, Advanced Business Systems, now the only form the brand book allows, and moved from decoration to structure.
identity
03Five Lines, Five Values
The final sign is a solid A whose right leg is built from five parallel lines. Each line stands for one of the company’s values: responsibility, engagement, experience, passion and partnership. Separately they are five bars; together they carry the weight of the letter, the way five values make one company.
Built on One Angle
Every edge follows the same slope, so the sign keeps its precision from a favicon to a flag. The wordmark is set in Haffer next to the sign, and the line “Attention to detail. Responsibility for the whole.” turns the construction into a promise.

key visual
04A Network of Nodes
The key visual is a grid of coloured nodes joined by thin lines, the way devices are joined in a network. Five accent colours, blue, purple, red, green and yellow, belong to the five values. On the website banner the nodes grow under the cursor and reveal the icons of the systems the company builds, so the hero behaves like a live network.
Light and Dark
The same grid works on white and on ABS Black, on screens, folders and presentation covers. It can be cropped to a single connection or extended across a whole wall without losing its logic.

05Icons That Explain Infrastructure
Advanced Business Systems sells systems that are hard to see: firewalls, LAN cores, servers, SAN switches and storage arrays. We drew each element as a clean isometric icon with one stroke weight, and gave it a coloured dot with a letter that marks its role in the system.
From Icons to Schematics
Placed on the node grid, the icons become a diagram language. A redundant architecture with two firewalls, three servers and two SANs fits into one drawing that an engineer can check and a client can understand. The team can rebuild any project diagram from the same parts.
Values and Services
A second, lighter level of outline icons covers the five values and the offer: cybersecurity, high availability, data protection, data, networks, virtualisation, AI and end-user computing.

06An Interactive Website
We designed and built the new website, live since March 2026 in Polish and English. The node grid runs in the hero and reacts to the cursor, each area of specialisation carries its own icon, and the structure leads from a letter from the CEO to services and proof of delivery.

07On Site and On the Road
Infrastructure work happens in server rooms and on client premises, so the brand has to work there too: embroidered on a technician’s polo, cut in vinyl on a service van, printed on a toolbox, a business card and a flag at the entrance.

08Team Portraits
We photographed the team for the website: natural light, shallow depth of field and neutral tones, as the brand book specifies, so every face sits comfortably next to the node grid. The portraits are a small part of the project, but they give the company a human face.

09Result
From the tender in July 2025 to a live website in March 2026: a logo with five lines for five values, a node-based key visual, a two-level icon set and diagram system, a 65-page brand book, the website and team portraits. Advanced Business Systems now explains its infrastructure the way it builds it: every part connected, nothing left to chance.
